The local and regional authorities award recognizes one of them for the simultaneous consideration of economic, social, societal, and environmental components in the management of their community.

This year, 2024, the award recognizes the overall performance of the community of communes in the country of APT LUBERON in the four criteria of our awards:
Economic performance: budget balance of the operating budget, with a surplus of 10% and significant investment in relation to the size of the community of communes.

Social performance : a special effort is made on the training of agents (133 officers trained in 2023 representing 651 training days) A catalogue of services and training has been set up with a dedicated agent for the steps to use these services. The community of communes has implemented a policy of quality of life at work, resulting in absenteeism well below the departmental average.

Social performance: the community of communes of the country of APT LUBERON has been resolutely engaged in the scheme Territoire Zero Long-term Unemployed in one of the poorest departments of France with the creation, in 2022, of the company aimed at employment ZouVaï, which now employs 80 people. The community of communes has dedicated an operational team of three full-time people on this device on which we will return.
In addition, the municipality has created « the link »one travelling bus out of the 25 municipalities to facilitate administrative procedures of the inhabitants Finally, a bus service dedicated to the elderly allows them to participate in various activities of the Social Centre and a new educational and musical project is offered to the pupils of CE1 and CE2 by the Conservatoire du Pays d'APT.

Environmental performance The community of communes is involved in several programmes.
Climate Air Energy Territorial Plan, working on consumption reduction, production, renewable energy, carbon sequestration and aimed at promoting the circular economy and adapting climate change The community of municipalities is a partner of the Territorial Food Plan, led by the Luberon Regional Park, to promote local consumption. Finally, the CC participates with ADEME in the contract for territorial objectives promoting the ecological transition of communities
