Alexandre BELLANGE

IN NOVEMBER 2025 AT THE COLLOQUE DE LAISEOR

The Enterprise Prize distinguishes leaders who practice humanist capitalism and make their company sustainable in the four dimensions mentioned above.

Alexandre BELLANGE founder and CEO of BELCO is the winner of the 2025 company award, rewarding the company's overall economic, social, societal and environmental performance. He was represented at the ceremony by Marius CERON-SIMEON, Project Manager Impact of BELCO.

BELCO, founded in 2007, now has 70 employees, 50 of whom are in France, 10 in Colombia, 5 in Ethiopia. It has developed a niche market in quality coffee. The company supports producers to allow sustainable soil regeneration in Colombia and Central America as well as in Africa to produce a homogeneous quality coffee in a specialty market.

The company also trains its intermediate customers (torrefactors and baristas) and makes its final customers aware of the quality of sustainable coffee. Thus it guarantees the traceability and transparency of its entire coffee production process.

BELCO aims to become a mission company in 2026. It is distinguished by its virtuous business model, its contribution to the sustainable development of producers and its organisation of a responsible value chain illustrating its overall performance.

Recipients of 10,000 € attached to the Global Performance Award chosen by BELCO are Agronomists and Veterinarians without Borders and the Explore Fund – dedicated to reducing the impacts of Man on Nature.
