Philippe GUERRET, founder of M2I, is the winner of the 2022 Enterprise Award, rewarding the overall performance combining economic, social, societal and environmental performance.
M2i Life Sciences is a company specialized in sustainable technologies for agriculture and health. She specializes in the manufacture of Pheromones.
It was founded in 2012 by Philippe WAR which wanted to expand its activities while relocating industrial jobs and reinvigorating territories. It has thus safeguarded 45 jobs in three activities and now has 185 employees.
Revenues (EUR 20 million) increased by 32% over the last three years and net profitability was 5%. The workforce has increased by 6 since 2013, and a variable remuneration system is linked to the performance of the company, the site, and the function.
The company has three ESATs at its three industrial sites, all run by women.
Its own pheromones production activity avoids the use of 22 000 tonnes of pesticides, i.e. the annual consumption of a country such as Poland.
It carries out a strong work of evangelization on biocontrol in general beyond the specific activity of M2i, particularly in agricultural sectors.
Partner WWF and France Nature Environnement M2i plays a significant role in environmental awareness in schools, universities and local and regional authorities.
M2i is patron of the University of Perpignan and partner of the National Centre of Historic Monuments.
Philippe War designated as a beneficiary of the financial allocation of 10,000 € attached to the Association Prize: « Our neighborhoods have talent » which focuses on the integration of young graduates from difficult neighbourhoods

The committee appreciated the courageous approach taken by this young Lyon entrepreneur from TPE in the recovery of this company, its ability to maintain its turnover and profitability through the development of new customers during the Covid period, critical for its business sector, the social dimension of its approach: In addition to its historical partnership with the association PARTNERS and today with L'ENTREPRISE DES POSSIBLES and LE RALLYE DU CœUR, its obligation to work with local companies and ecological materials and its support for the association TIME FOR THE PLANET.
Bernadette & Paul DODANE, CRISTEL
Founded in 1987 by Bernadette and Paul DODANE and located in Fesches-le-Châtel, Doubs, CRISTEL manufactures high-end kitchen equipment. Since 2021 it has acquired the status of business on mission.
The selection committee appreciated the remarkable distribution of the results (50% to the employees the balance remaining in the company to finance investment and innovation) the social dimension (absenteeism, turnover and insignificant accident rates, daily consultation of employees on malfunctions, constant practice of social dialogue).
The territorial anchor demonstrates a company's ability to participate in the development of a remote territory while in contact with national and international partners. The development of bridges with national education and the creation of a space for valuing industrial culture greatly contributes to the understanding of enterprise by the world of education and the city.
Environmentally, the Committee welcomes the use of 96.8% recyclable materials.
